What's the difference between a bookkeeper and a CPA? +
A bookkeeper keeps your financial records clean and current throughout the year, categorizing transactions, reconciling accounts, and producing monthly reports. A CPA uses those records to file your taxes and provide strategic advice. They work best together: your CPA moves faster and charges you less when the books are already clean.
Do I need bookkeeping if I already have a CPA? +
Yes. Most CPAs do not do ongoing monthly bookkeeping; it's simply not what they're trained for or priced to do. Without clean monthly books, you're flying blind on cash flow all year and handing your CPA a mess at tax time, which costs you more in CPA fees.
What does it cost? +

Do you work with QuickBooks? +
Yes. We use QuickBooks Online and can work within your existing setup or get you started from scratch. If you're using something else, we'll figure out what works best.
Do you work with my industry? +
We specialize in real estate investors and realtors, restaurants, contractors, retail, and similar local businesses. If that's not you, reach out anyway; we'll tell you honestly if we're a fit.
My books are a mess. Can you still help? +
Absolutely. Catch-up bookkeeping is one of the most common things we do. Whether you're a few months behind or a couple of years, we'll get you current without judgment and put a clean system in place going forward.
Do you file my taxes too? +
Yes. Tax preparation and proactive tax strategy are part of our Business Advisory tier, filed by someone who already knows your numbers, not handed off to a stranger at tax time. On the standard bookkeeping plan, we work alongside your CPA or can connect you with one we trust.
Do you serve clients outside of Jacksonville? +
Our focus is Jacksonville, FL and the surrounding areas: St. Johns County, including St. Augustine and World Golf Village, plus Clay and Nassau Counties. Everything is handled remotely via QuickBooks and secure file sharing, so geography is rarely a barrier.
